You can add info about the candy colors in your fanon here.
Candies are the main elements in fanons. The objective of the game is to match at least three same-color candies in a row, which clears them from the board.
The candies come in various colors. The original game has six candy colors, but some fanons will add more colors than that.
There are also special candies that have different effects when cleared, formed by matching regular candies in certain configurations.

CCSS[]
Currently there are 11 colors. The candy colors are usually ordered like real game. But some levels have unordered color schemes, that means five-colored levels can include yellow candies as a spawning color, or red and yellow candies can appear in four-color levels. The first level with unordered color scheme is level 50.
There are all six colors from the real game, plus cyan candy from Candy Crush Soda Saga, but this fanon has five more colors. There are three new candies with special effects. These are dark purple candy (), white candy () and lime green candy (). Cyan and pink candies have the same caractheristics as any normal candy, except they can block striped candy effects like a licorice swirl and are worth 30 points for every candy destroyed.
The usual color scheme is in this table below.

---|---|---|---|
1 | Blue | 1 | |

T9CCS[]
In T9CCS there are 7 regular candy colors, usually but not always ordered. There are also 3 special candy color - white, lime and dark purple. They may appear in levels with any number of candy colors, since they have special properties. Despite the fact that there are 10 candy colors in total, at most only 8 of them can appear in the same level.
Regular candy colors[]
Candy Colours | First Level | Visual | Frequency |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 427 | 1 |
Very rare; this is heavily due to limited design space. Level 427 is to date the only level with one candy color. |
2 | 66 | 2 |
Rare; many episodes do not have a single 2-color level, although there are exceptions like Juicy Jungle which has 2. |
3 | 16 | 3 |
Occasional; there is a 3-color level approximately every other episode. Their number starts to increase later. |
4 | 23 | 4 |
Very common; almost every episode has a 4-color level, and many have more than 1 (especially the later ones). |
5 | 5 | 5 |
Very common; every single episode has a 5-color level, and very few have less than 3. |
6 | 1 | 6 |
Occasional; most early episodes have a 6-color level, but their number rapidly starts to deteriorate later. |
7 | 3 | 7 |
Rare; after occasionally popping up in early episodes, 7-color levels often end up disappearing for a long time. |
Special candy colors[]
These colors have special properties and as such can appear in levels with any number of candy colors.
Image | First Level | Function | Frequency |
---|---|---|---|
241 | Special candies formed from them produce different outcomes than usual. Forming a striped candy will cause a 4-column/4-row blast, forming a wrapped candy will cause a 5x5 explosion around the swapped candy (only deals single damage to blockers though), and forming a color bomb with it will have the equivalent effect of a CB+CB combination (it will clear the whole board and strip one layer off each blocker.). | Variable; dark purple candies have various prevalence - there are some episodes with as much as 5 levels containing it, but there are also droughts without any dark purple candies for up to 100 levels. Levels rely on them to clear blockers quickly. Purple jelly is especially strong in levels with a low number of candy colors or an open board, due to ease of making matches of 4 or more. | |
526 | Any matches with this candy that would decrease a layer of a blocker will decrease two layers instead; same goes for special candies made with them. Often called the double damage candy. If a lime green candy is destroyed by a color bomb, it will also deal double damage to any neighbouring blockers. Contrary to dark purple and white candies, striped and wrapped lime green candies exist and can be made in the same way as with normal candies. | Occasional; lime green candies are often perceived as a weaker variant of dark purple candies, as they usually have the same funcion (destroying blockers quickly). However, lime green candies have an advantage in cramped boards or levels with a large number of colors as it is harder to make a special candy match with dark purple candies there, and lime green candies work even with regular matches of 3. | |
527 | Any match made with white candies will not produce a special candy, instead it will spawn a number of jellyfishes equal to the amount of candies matched that will target blockers, jellies, candies under ingredients etc. If a white candy is matched with a color bomb, each white candy on the board will transform into a jellyfish. | Occasional; levels usually rely on white candies to reach isolated spaces (often with jellies) rather than quickly destroy blockers (which is the prime function of the other 2 special colors). They are likely going to be more common than lime green candies. |

FCS[]
There are seven candy colors that are always ordered, and there are two special candy colors, purple and lime green, which can appear in levels with any number of colors because of their special effects. Some interesting things to note in this fanon are that cyan candies are one of the first 6 colors, which means that nearly every single level features them, whereas orange candies are the seventh candy color, meaning that they are rare and don't appear until later in the game.

CCR[]
In CCR, unlike other fanons, every level has only up to six Candy colors including extra color on screen. The seventh color also never appears in this fanon. Any colors can also be included or excluded. That means five-colored levels can include yellow candies as a spawning color, or red and yellow candies can appear in four-color levels.

CCES[]
In Candy Crush Earth Saga, there are regular candy colors. The color scheme for levels is generally ordered, with no exceptions so far.
In the older versions, Windows 10, iOS and Android versions had a different color scheme which was unified with the release of Chocolate Canyon, preparing the game for the introduction of a new level type, Candy Order levels. However, the pages of the first two episodes have images of the old color pattern.
Present Color Pattern | First Level | Rarity |
---|---|---|
- | - | |
?? | Insanely Rare | |
Level 587 | Very Rare | |
Level 21 | Somewhat Common | |
Level 3 | Very Common | |
Level 1 | Common | |
Level 17 (unofficial) | ?? |
Early levels in the games (except Level 17) tend to have 4 to 6 candy colors. 3-colored levels are not introduced until Level 587. The next 7-colored level is to be added only after Dreamworld ends (Cyan candies were only introduced for matching colors between the versions for formality and do not exist in the Dreamworld). Dreamworld levels can only have 5 or 6 colors. As of the unification of color scheme, Level 17 is planned to be redesigned and temporary removal of cyan candies is planned altogether. This is to be done after fixing the images of the first two episode levels.
Special Candy Colors[]
As of now, only 3 special colors are planned but more may be added later.
Works like soda saga.
Gives 1.5x score
Doubles any special candy effect passing through it (For example, if a striped candy's effect passes through it, it removes 2 layers of all blockers or jellies after the candy. No doubling before the candy). Effects do stack, making the levels tremendously easier.

UCCS[]
There are ten candy colours in UCCS. Dark purple, pink and grey candies can appear in any level regardless of the order since they have special properties. Starting from Level 408, the colour scheme can be unorganized, such as, for example, red-cyan-yellow-green instead of the usual blue-green-orange purple.
Number | Color | Image | 1st level | Effect |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Blue | 1 | No special effect. | |
2 | Green | 1 | No special effect. | |
3 | Orange | 1 | No special effect. | |
4 | Purple | 1 | No special effect. | |
5 | Red | 1 | No special effect. | |
6 | Yellow | 1 | No special effect. | |
7 | Cyan | 1 | No special effect until Level 361, where they can be used to feed Sprinkleshell. | |
8 | Dark purple | 88 | They do the same effect as in Candy Crush Soda Saga. | |
9 | Grey | 511 | They create cracks on the board like a toffee tornado. The number of cracks vary on how many candies are matched. | |
10 | Pink | 571 | They create different special candies when matched in a line of 4, 5, L/T/+ or long T. |
